Last Saturday night was Payton's first night in her big girl bed. It went a lot better than I thought. I laid with her until she fell asleep to her bedtime music. It took about 30 minutes. She never cried or tried to get out of the bed. She stayed there until about 6:00am and then she walked down the hall and said, "Mama!" I then went and laid with her again for about 10 minutes and told her it was still night night time. She went back to sleep until 8:30! Yeah! After that first night she has stayed in her bed until 7/7:30 which was her original wake up time. Last night and today for her nap I put her in there and shut the door and she never got up and stayed in until she woke up. I am knocking on wood right now that I am not going to regret bragging!

Ok, I need to talk to Payton about this easy transition on her big girl bed thing. She is making it way too easy for you guys. All I have to say it watch out for baby #2.
Maybe she needs to talk to Lawson about not getting out of his bed. He is doing much better these days.
